Meet a CSGer: Taylor

An expert event planner. A media maven. A skillful strategist. You know consultant Taylor Schillace as all of these — and more. But there are probably a few things you don’t know about Taylor. We roped her into a new profile format (yep, we keep experimenting with these) that we’re calling “5 of Me.” Get to know Taylor a little bit better through these photos.

1. Me before CSG

FLORIDA! This is from one of the last times I was in Key West. I’ll be visiting KW again early December and I’m so excited. What I miss most about Florida is my family and friends there. The beaches are beautiful and I like to go every once in a while, but if I have limited time in Florida, I’ll just stay home and hang out with my family the whole time.

2. Me on the weekend

On the weekends, you’ll find me and my husband, Jonathan outside. This is us at Sky Pond in RMNP. Something I recommend everyone do is drive the super, ridiculous scary highway between Ouray and Silverton – not sure I’ll do it again! Halfway between the two cities, is Columbine Lake Trail. It’s a long and exhausting hike but the reward at the top is definitely worth it.

3. Me and my secret

Something I’m sure no one at CSG knows about me is: traveling + moving vehicle = me asleep. This collage is from our trip to London and Ireland in 2016. And, it’s not just when we’re moving. Once I fell asleep at an FC Barcelona game IN Barcelona! In my defense, we arrived in Spain super early that morning and the game was at 10 pm. I was running on ZERO sleep.

4. Me on Halloween

This is me at 8 years old, holding my newborn baby sister. I’m usually the typical mild-mannered middle child, angel child if you will. But one time when my little sister was a toddler I did something that really made her mad and she bit me as hard as she could. I still have a really light baby tooth scar on my hand!

5. Me in the future

What I’m looking forward to most right now is a trip to the Grand Canyon that we’re planning early next year. I’m on the hunt for tips and recommendations if anyone has any! If I could choose another natural wonder of the world to see in my life it would be hands down the aurora borealis. It’s been on by bucket list since I was old enough to know what a bucket list is.
