Meet a CSGer: Zoe

Production Designer, Zoe, was born to be a wanderer. She entered the world while her parents were out of town and has been on the move ever since. Read on for further adventures from this designing woman.

San Jose Baby, Denver Lady

While I consider myself a Colorado native, I was actually born in San Jose, California during my parents’ babymoon. Sorry, Mom! Otherwise, I grew up in Denver right outside of the city.

Because I’ve only ever really lived in Colorado, I hope to move to California within five or so years. I feel like it truly is a second home.

Red Rocks Rat

I truly live and breathe music. Since I was about 13, I’ve spent my summers (and the occasional winter) at Red Rocks and going to concerts. I love all kinds of music (except country) so there is never a lack of shows to attend. Through music, I’ve made lifelong friends and amazing memories. I even credit my passion for art and design to live music, as I researched and studied the subject for my BFA thesis.

Photo: Not at Red Rocks but, same vibe.

Werk It Out

I only ran track for two years in high school, but fell in love with the drive and dedication that came with training. After taking far too long a break from fitness, I found a newfound love for athleticism in the form of indoor cycling, yoga and hiking.

Fun fact: after picking up a job at a cycling studio in Denver, I racked up a whopping 290 classes in just under a year. The obsession is real.

Animal House

I grew up with two dogs and loved them like siblings. After getting a dog of my own, Abbey, I want to continue to rescue dogs and give them a loving home. While it’s a struggle to take on a problematic rescue, it is one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had. The snuggles make it all worth it!

Je Peux être Français Aussi?

I love to travel, especially to Europe. In fifth grade, I went all around the Netherlands, England and Germany with my mom as she finished up her MFA program.

I fell in love.

In high school, I took French for three years and I am currently trying to pick it back up. Within the next year or so, I hope to travel all around France and speak French fluently! I am already ahead of the game; my drink of choice is an Aperol Spritz.
