Meet a CSGer: Erik
Chief Innovation Officer, Erik, never lets any problem keep him stumped for too long, even if it means digging his way out of it with a 5-gallon bucket. Seriously.
From Colorado with International Roots and Aspirations:
Born in Colorado to parents from abroad — mother is 1st generation Colombian and father is 2nd generation Austrian — Erik has traveled to 45 countries including his most recent adventure to the Republic of Georgia. Valencia, Spain is his second home, having lived there and returned many times to visit friends. His goal is to eventually retire abroad and continue these adventures. Raised speaking English and Spanish, Erik has also picked up light conversational German, as well as colloquial words and offensive phrases in various foreign languages, aiming to begin every new foreign adventure with a broad understanding of common terms, their unique modifiers of those terms, and cultural norms.
Relentless curiosity
Always love learning new things, whether that be new cultures and history, the craft of cooking and enjoying food, craft of libations, learning photography, programmatic advertising, SEO, playing the violin, or how to dig out and finish a basement starting with pickaxe, shovel, and an army of 5-gallon buckets.
Outdoors Driven
Whether skydiving, hiking, wildlife viewing, photography, camping, skiing, rafting, bicycling, skydiving, walking/exploring, swimming, playing sports, running from the bulls (no bulls were harmed) – I love it all and willing to try everything once.
Music and Arts
Growing up as a child playing the violin and charcoal drawing, arts has always been a connection point between my sister, who is an accomplished flamenco dancer and entertainment manager, and myself – but also to many of my closest friends. Fun freelance photography fact – I’ve worked with over 100 photography clients ranging from milestone life events, corporate headshots, nature/travel art prints, performance arts, architecture, community events, live music and CD covers.
Puppy Love
Always have been a lover of all animals, and had aspirations of being a veterinarian as a child. Louis the dog is my best companion, coming with me most everywhere I go.
