Meet a CSGer: Sarah
You probably know Sarah has a good eye for detail and a deft touch with clients — but did you know she has a soft spot for Korean television?
Why Is One Hundred.
I am not nearly as interesting as the rest of my wonderful team, but I do read. A lot! I read 100 books in 2022. I enjoy just about everything, with the exception of historical fiction. If you have book recs, always send them my way! My top three from 2022 were (probably):
The Problem of Pain
Four Thousand Weeks: Time Management for Mortals
This is How You Lose the Time War (a reread)
Doodling!
I was a notorious doodler. If we weren’t as computer-bound at work, I probably still would be. Now, I like to play around more with pastels, and you can occasionally find me in the evenings at one of the Art Students League of Denver’s figure drawing classes.
선생님 (Teacher)
I spent time right after college as a teacher in South Korea. It was ah-mazing. I usually get some variation of these questions whenever I mention it.
Did you speak Korean before you went? Nope! Sure did after a few months though.
Would you recommend it? Yes - a million times yes. I helped my best friend’s sister find a place to teach there last year.
Do you like K-pop/K-drama? Yes 😊 I didn’t really know much about it before I went, but I taught middle school so I had to catch up on it pretty quick! If you watch anything, watch What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim. It’s a classic.
