Women’s History Month began in 1987
Women couldn’t get credit cards until 1974
Women could only compete in figure skating at the first Winter Olympic Games in 1924
Women were granted the right to vote in 1920
While the progress we have made is apparent, there is so much more work to be done to ensure women (and all of humankind) are treated equally, fairly and protected throughout the world.
