Meet a CSGer: Addisyn

Born in the Mile High

I am one of the few it seems like these days lifelong Coloradans, born and raised in Highlands Ranch. Much to my parents' dismay, who are proud CSU Rams, I attended the University of Colorado Boulder where I fell even more in love with Colorado and the Buffs (who of course didn’t get good until I graduated).

Here’s a picture at Folsom Field in Boulder before a CU football game.

Long Time Skier

The first time I put on skis was when I was two years old and have only missed one winter since due to an unfortunate knee surgery last year. I used to send myself off any and every jump, cliff, ledge, you name it, but these days I am more of a ski half day than après girl. Skiing has brought me so many friendships, as well as fun opportunities to travel to cool mountains like Aspen and the Ötztal Alps in Sölden, Austria and is probably a large reason I have remained in Colorado my entire life.

Travel Lover

Speaking of traveling, I am a huge traveler and love to explore other states and countries. My favorite places I have been would be Prague or a small town in Portugal called Vila Nova de Milfontes. If I could travel anywhere right now it would be to go on a Safari in South Africa.

Animal Fanatic

I am a big animal person. I grew up around animals and used to be convinced I was going to be a Marine Biologist when I was older (little did I know science was not my strong suit). If I could own 10 pets I would but unfortunately my roommates and building manager wouldn’t allow that, so until then going to my parents to see the family pets will have to suffice.

My family pets Rascal (cat), Libby (middle), Piper (right).
