Meet a CSGer: Michael

Texan in Colorado (with a few stops along the way)

I am a native Texan born and raised in the Lone Star state. From there, I ventured out to Columbia, Missouri, to attend the University of Missouri (Go Tigers!), before settling in Chicago for 7 years. Most recently, I decided to make the jump to Denver, Colorado. 

A Dog Named Ziggy

If you know anything about me, it is that my wife and I have been kept pretty busy with an (almost) 2-year-old golden retriever named Ziggy. He still has his puppy energy but is adjusting to the fact that he can’t fit in the same places he used to now that he is 115 pounds! 

The Great Outdoors

I love the outdoors, so I like to spend most weekends getting out in some capacity (hiking, camping, trail running, mountain biking). I’m looking forward to continuing to explore all that Colorado and the Front Range has to offer! 

Nak Muay Farang

On a bit of whim, I joined a Muay Thai gym in Chicago and fell in love with the sport. During that time, I trained and competed at an amateur level (mainly just took some lumps). I look forward to finding a gym in the Denver area and getting back to it! 

Lover of the Beautiful Game

My first love is and always will be soccer. I kicked a ball basically as soon as I could walk and have played it ever since. I also love to watch soccer and am an avid supporter of Manchester United along with our US national teams. Counting down to the World Cup coming to North America in 2026!
